Ep 006: Ilse Brockling

Why we need to educate children about their holistic health from an early age and why every business should have an element of social purpose.

This week Ilse Fullarton, Founder of the Children’s Health Project, joins the show to share how she’s grown a social enterprise that supports the health education of over 15,000 children in the UK. Through providing teacher programs, trainings and workshops, it’s their mission for all children to have greater respect for their bodies, the knowledge and confidence to make sustainable healthy choices and a true understanding of why it’s important to be healthy. As a former PE primary teacher, Ilse made the leap to bring this mission into a reality.

In this episode we discuss:

  • Having a social purpose for any business
  • Why we need to educate children about their holistic health from an early age
  • Transitioning from the education world to the business world
